Time to get your cowboy boots out and tap your toes to some fiddle music at Ranchman’s Bar. Rob Scheer and his husband Reece learn line dancing and swing in Calgary, Canada. Rob Scheer is the founder of Comfort Cases in Darnestown, Maryland. Comfort Cases is an organization that Rob started to provide kids in the foster care system a backpack with items that belong to them. This all stemmed from Rob’s own foster kids arriving at his house with all of their belongings in nothing but a trash bag. Rob has had the support of his husband Reece, and their four foster kids during this journey. After 10 years of hard work taking on the US foster care system to make a change while raising four children, Rob and Reece travel to the city of Calgary, Alberta for a vacation. Ranchman’s Bar opened its doors in 1972 and was the first country bar in Calgary. Rob and Reece head over to Ranchman’s Bar to meet Outlaw Country dance group. Outlaw Country is a Canadian dance group established in 2014 that specializes in country, swing, and line dancing. Dancers Chris Huband and Dannica Robertson teach Rob and Reece how to swing dance, and flip their partners while dancing to country music. Watch as Rob and Reece have a great time full of laughs, country dancing and just having fun at Ranchman’s Bar.
