Clients recently came to me with birth and adoption traumas that were inhibiting their kids from participating in routine childhood experiences and creating the need for lots of medication. The loving adopting parents gave these kids every medical, psychotherapeutic, and educational opportunity available, and they'd made some progress in 4 years, but "normal" kid stuff was still way out of reach. In just a few sessions, we were able to turn this around and they got the results they were wanting and that had been eluding them up to now. How did we do it?
