After swimming with wild dolphins in Bunbury, we continued our day exploring more of the area between Bunbury and Mandurah, WA. We enjoyed lunch at the Bunbury Foreshore while Simon took the drone up to capture stunning aerial views of the coastline and Bunbury’s uniquely painted lighthouse. From there, we headed north to Lake Clifton, home to the fascinating Thrombolites – some of the oldest living organisms on Earth. To truly appreciate these incredible living fossils, we also filmed drone footage from above, offering a unique perspective of this rare natural phenomenon. Before heading back to the car, we took the scenic 30-minute walk to Jyttes Hytte, the hidden Mandurah Giant, tucked away near the Thrombolites boardwalk. A perfect mix of coastal views, ancient nature, and hidden gems – all in one day on the road.
