A Childhood Dream Fulfilled 🐬 Swimming With Wild Dolphins in Bunbury, Western Australia

Swimming with wild dolphins has been a lifelong dream for Simon — and for his 60th birthday, our family made it come true 💙 in Bunbury, Western Australia In early November, we joined a dolphin swim experience with the ‪@DolphinDiscoveryCentreTV‬ a unique, non-profit and volunteer-run organisation. Every single dollar spent on this cruise goes 100% back into dolphin research, education, and rescue, making this experience not only unforgettable, but also deeply meaningful. We spent an incredible day out on the open ocean, encountering wild dolphins in their natural habitat. Some came as close as about one metre, swimming freely alongside us. Despite murky visibility and cold, windy conditions, we were lucky enough to capture some underwater footage of these beautiful animals. I personally only entered the water once — the cold conditions later resulted in a stubborn cold that stuck around for nearly three weeks — but Simon absolutely loved every moment. Watching his childhood dream unfold was worth every second.
