As I explained in this video, I don't have much knowledge about dyeing. I use a simple process which I learned years ago from someone I know, but I changed it a bit to avoid using too much water. This is probably not a quite preferable way for a larger amount of materials. If you're interested in natural dyeing, I'd recommend finding other resources for actual instructions. Usually, I soak the materials in soy milk beforehand to help the dye to stick better, but I didn't this time because onion skins usually have a pretty strong colour.
