3 Axis CNC - Calibration tricks for high precision cutting

#3018CNC #Fusion360 #DIYCNCMill #Tutorials I was recently done building my new CNC machine using my small 3018 CNC to cut the parts. The 3018 CNC wasn't well calibrated so the parts made for the new CNC are not precise. For the new CNC, I got a lot of problem: The spindle wasn't parallel to the Z axis, when cutting a flat surface, it always leaves a lot of lines. The Y and Z Axis are not accurate The platform is not parallel to the movement of the Z axis The X and Y axis are not perpendicular In the end, I was able to do all the calibration to fix all the problem above and make the machine cut accurately. These calibration tricks were shown with MACH3, but they can be applied also on other type of control software (GRBL, etc.).
