The old fable of the Mexican fisherman and the businessman wonderfully illustrates how our values can determine our external life conditions. Some may consider this a very dangerous story as it may open your eyes to what's truly important in life... During my work as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist in Northwood, North London, I found that using the right story or metaphor can convey a lesson or a message that may be otherwise resisted by the conscious mind. The Mexican Fisherman and the Businessman is one of my favourite tales, so I thought it would be fun to animate it and share it with you here.
