Seminyak, Bali. Thursday, 26 February 2026. This afternoon we’re in Seminyak, Bali. The weather was bright and sunny through the morning and early afternoon, but by late afternoon the clouds started rolling back in. The sky that would normally glow orange at sunset is completely covered today. We began our walk from the eastern end of Camplung Tanduk Street. This intersection is usually packed with traffic and often causes congestion in the area. From there, we strolled west along Camplung Tanduk Street towards the beach. Along the way, we passed plenty of European restaurants, spas, and rows of shops selling clothing and souvenirs. There are also several hotels on this street, where many tourists choose to stay during their time in Seminyak. Eventually, we reached the western end of the road — Double Six Beach. In the late afternoon, most of Seminyak’s tourism activity centres around this stretch of sand. Visitors typically gather here to catch the sunset while enjoying food and drinks from the beachfront restaurants and bars. Many of the venues set up colourful bean bags right on the sand, giving tourists a relaxed spot to sit back, unwind, and watch the sun go down. We continued walking south along the beach until we reached the Arjuna Disaster Shelter area. After that, we exited the beach and made our way onto Double Six Street. This road plays an important role in keeping tourism flowing around Double Six Beach, as it’s the main access route for visitors heading down from their hotels to the shoreline. Cars aren’t allowed through here — only pedestrians, motorbikes, rubbish trucks, and restaurant suppliers can pass. In many ways, this street feels like the main artery that keeps the energy of Double Six tourism alive and moving. Thanks for walking with us.
