New Groove Milling Cutters with MULTI-MASTER and FLEXFIT Threaded Connections. ISCAR expanded its slitting line with new groove milling cutters featuring MULTI-MASTER and FLEXFIT threaded connections. The new cutters are available in two size configurations: 32 – 40 mm or 1.26 – 1.575 inch tool diameters carrying SELF-GRIP inserts, and 50 mm or 1.968 inch tool diameter carrying TANG-GRIP inserts. Tool features include: An exchangeable tool head for fast indexing, resulting in no setup time. The tool heads can be clamped on all standard MULTI-MASTER and FLEXFIT shanks. A large number of teeth in relation to the tool diameter, which results in faster machining and higher productivity. Tools are available in diameter ranges of 32-50 mm or 1.26 – 1.968 inches The tools feature an efficient cooling system directed to each and every cutting edge. A unique tool design enables machining very close to the workpiece bottom.
