Tangent to Periphery to The Boneyard to Lower Periphery is a ski run of varying difficulties located at Waterville Valley Resort. The trails run from the top of the White Peaks Express chairlift, down to the base area. The rum starts to the skier's left of the top of the chairlift, past the bottom of the High Country T-Bar on Tangent, an intermediate trail. The trail is narrow and curves slightly to the right before merging onto Periphery, another intermediate trail. Periphery is slightly wider but still quite narrow and features a few decent pitches before arriving near the bottom of the Northside chairlift. Continuing straight past the bottom of the chairlift, I skied onto The Boneyard, a short advanced trail that features a short and steep drop at the top before turning to the right and merging onto Lower Periphery. Lower Periphery, an intermediate trail zig-zags back and forth while traversing back to the main base area. Waterville Valley Resort is a ski area located in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. The ski area is located in the Southern White Mountains, and is about a 25-minute drive north of Plymouth, NH, a 1-hour and 15-minute drive from Manchester, NH, and about a 2-hour drive from Boston, MA. Due to its close proximity to the Boston Metro Area and easy access only about 15 minutes off of Interstate 93, the ski area is popular with many day-trippers from the area. The ski area is also known for its family-friendly atmosphere which includes plenty of fun activities for kids, a variety of terrain for all ability levels, a top-notch ski school program, and a small-mountain feel with only one base area. The ski area is owned by the Sununu family, whose members include the current and a former Governor of New Hampshire as well as a former United States Senator from New Hampshire. Waterville Valley is an unlimited partner on the White Mountain Superpass, which also includes Cannon, Cranmore, and Bretton Woods, as well as a member on the Indy Pass, which grants pass holders 2 days each at the mountain.
