Locomotive consist: RMRX 8013 - GMD GP40-2LW - Gold, blue and white - Fouled Narrow Font K3L (dead #3) RMRX 8017 - EMD GP40-2R - Gold, blue and white This crossing is located on the CN Squamish Subdivision. Bell sequence: Bell rings through whole activation. Horn setting: Horn zone. Signal on the left: A Safetran base, a Safetran gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights and 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20" lights with Harmon Fading LEDs. Signal on the right: A Safetran base, a Safetran gate mechanism with RECO LED gate lights, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20" lights with Harmon Fading LEDs and a Safetran Type 1 electronic bell. After beginning my day 2 chase of RMR 613 where I first caught it at Owl Ridge Road with an ASC E-Bell (video to be released in the future), I came over to this crossing next, which has also been a top priority for me for many years. After waiting for a few minutes, RMR 613 came by with quite the throttle and smoke show! This crossing like many on the former BC Rail mainline, is very nice, so I'm glad to have finally gotten my chance to get it recorded. These signals were installed by BC Rail in the late 1990s, more than likely replacing crossbucks. Like always, CN had replaced the original Safetran LEDs with the current Harmon Fading LEDs, and more recently, replaced the worded "2 tracks" signs with standard Canadian symbolic ones, plus the far signal had its original gate arm replaced too. The best of all is of course, the Safetran Type 1 E-Bell! This is one of many still remaining along the former BC Rail, and specifically one of three remaining along the Squamish Subdivision. It still sounds quite nice, although slightly quieter than the others along the line. All in all, a very nice crossing to have finally gotten recorded. Please comment, like and subscribe!
