Isolated French River Inlets | Georgian Bay Backcountry Fishing

A long weekend in the heart of summer spent exploring the isolated inlets and bays of Georgian Bay along the coast of the French River Mouth. This area contains trophy Bass, Pike, Walleye and Musky if you are able to search and find the right areas and techniques. I had limited time and took the express route down the busy motorized route of the Key River into this region. The weather was prime and I was able to cover +70km for a 2 night trip. This area had unfortunately been heavily consumed by a forest fire that engulfed the eastern portion of the French River Provincial Park and downwards towards Parry sound.
