On this deep shipwreck technical dive, we solve another underwater mystery by locating the Maker's plate in 80 metres (240'). This was one of the best dives I did in 2024 and had pretty much everything; flat seas, stunning visibility and ambient light at 80 metres (240 feet), dolphins on decompression stops and a superb result! The SS Hans Jensen was a Danish ship that was one of four vessels sunk by UB-18 on 13 September 1916. Fortunately all the crew survived by the location remained a mystery until we located it. This awesome dive nearly didn't happen when my Diver Propulsion Vessel (aka scooter) fell apart as I was about to enter the water. Only impressive work by the skipper saved my dive!
