This is a very healthy recipe as they are made using dink and dry fruits as additional nutritious ingredient. Marathi word “Dink” is edible gum. We are not using wheat flour or besan. These are pure dink ladoo. This is an ideal recipe for kids, senior citizens and overall, everyone in the family. Besides, we are not manking jaggery syrup!! Isn’t it easier? Ingredients: • 1/4 cup / 56 gm Ghee • 1 cup / 100 gm Dink powder • 1 cup / 130 gm Jaggery • 2 1/2 cup / 200 gm grated dry Coconut • 1 tbsp / 9 gm white Sesame seeds • 1 tbsp / 9 gm Poppy seeds • 1/4 cup / 56 gm Ghee • 100 gm Walnuts • 100 gm Almonds • 100 gm Cashew nuts • 1 cup / 200 gm Khareek powder / Dry Dates powder • 4 tsp Ghee • Sliced Pistachios Method: • Heat up a pan on medium heat and add ghee. • When the ghee is hot enough, add dink powder and fry well. • Add jaggery and turn the gas off. • Mix well and let the jaggery melt completely. • Take the melted jaggery out into a bowl and let it cool down. • Heat up another pan on medium heat and add dry coconut. • Roast the coconut well until it gets nice golden color and take it out into a dish. • In the same pan add sesame seeds and roast them well. • When the sesame seeds are almost roasted, add poppy seeds and roast them well together. • Take the mixture out into the dish. • In the same pan add ghee and walnuts, almonds and cashew nuts and fry them well together. • Turn the gas off and let it cool down. • Transfer the coconut mixture and dry nuts into a food processor and blend it into powder. • You can use mixture for the same process. • Add the jaggery mixture, khareek powder and ghee and blend it well together. • Take the mixture out into a bowl and break down lumps if any. • Add pistachios slices and mix well. • Roll out ladoos from it and dinkache ladoo are ready. • You can make 45 small ladoos from the ingredients used.They weigh 1 kilo. • Store the ladoos in an airtight container. • They have shelf life of about 1-2 months.
