Like, Comment and Subscribe to our Channel for more videos on Afghanistan and the region. --------------------------------------------------------------- Ahmad Shah Masood, the notorious former commander of Northern Alliance in Northern Afganistan, was assassinated 18 years ago in Takhar Afghanistan by so-called journalists. Masood was famous because of his active role in the civil war of Afghanistan and especially in Kabul. His armed forces are suspected of having killed thousands of people in Afshar and other areas of Kabul. Similarly, his armed forces have looted national treasury during the war. The Kabul University Library books were burned to warm up themselves from the cold by Masood's Armed Forces who were in control of it during the civil war. However, his supporters consider him as 'National Hero' and 'celebrates' his death anniversary on 9th of September every year, by marching in the city and streets of Kabul with colored cars and flags of Mujahideen. They also exhibit arms and often fire in the city of Kabul. Today (9/9/2019), among others, they killed an Army Officer, right after which the Kabul Police started arresting and beating them.
