Today marks Round 6 of Season 16 of the Alpha Touring Challenge (ATC) as brought to you on iRacing, powered by Syncmesh and Glass & Steel Photography and Design. We shall be taking a look back at all of the racing action which took place on Monday 9th February 2026 with the aim of bringing it to you as if it were live! After our sublime five year anniversary special at Watkins Glen, we return to our regular Sprint round format tonight at Mosport. Opened in 1961, this Canadian 2.45 mile circuit’s combination of ten high-speed bends, many of which are blind due to its rolling elevation changes, shall provide a daunting test for our drivers to tackle! In the Alpha Drivers’ Championship, in a battle for the win last round with Wojciech Swirydowicz which came down to strategy, Michael Polasek’s victory has increased his lead to 38 points. Meanwhile, Micah Hendricks continues to hold onto second despite a round beset by technical difficulties, albeit wary of Logan McKinzie who is seven points behind! In the Gamma Drivers’ Championship, Raymond Tieu and Dan McFarlane continue to occupy the top spots with the pair fighting their way through the field at Watkins Glen. Tieu leads by 25 points, but will need to be prepared to deal with McFarlane’s blistering pace! In the Delta Drivers’ Championship, despite missing last round, Tyler Long’s lead still stands strong at 85 points over Chris Macdonald whose impressive drive from the back of the field to a fourth place finish could be a sign of things to come. Can Long curb Macdonald’s momentum before he begins to close the gap? Who shall make themselves most comfortable at Canada’s Home of Motorsport? Tune in and find out!
