Galaxy S7 Edge: Full Review Hands-On + Top Features

All my favorite features, and just a few complaints and wish list items. -Design and build quality is superb. Looks and feels premium! -Curved glass is super sexy. I love the Edge Panels; work great for quick app launcher or quick communication w/ contacts. -The S7 Edge has a larger battery over the normal S7, 3600 mAh vs 3000. Battery life lasts long and is fantastic in my testing. -The display is incredibly beautiful! Samsung truly makes the best phone displays. Pixel resolution is 1440 x 2560. That's ~534 ppi pixel density. (iPhone 6S Plus only has 401 ppi. ;) -Wireless charging, fast charging, NFC, tap to pay -Gear VR Headset is a super easy/cheap way to enter into the world of Virtual Reality. -Fingerprint scanner is pretty snappy, I'd rate it 8 out of 10. -The S7 is water Resistant, which is a really neat feature. I'm sure someday I will definitely use this. -Expandable memory, cheap way to have storage for days! -Tons of tweaking and modding under the hood with Advanced Settings and I actually really like these little features that Samsung implements. -Notification bar Quick Toggles are much better than Android Marshmallow, and able to reorganize and add/remove is helpful. (This will be coming soon with Android N.) Complaints: -When hitting the power button, sometimes it takes just a half-second to wake, and I felt the Moto X Pure was a bit faster than this. -Samsung's "Auto Saving as Default" feature is terrible, please remove and/or allow the user to choose -The separate Galaxy App Store is pretty lame and needs to be merged with Google Play Store Overall, I REALLY like the S7 Edge and coming from my Moto X Pure, I'm glad I switched... for just the insane camera alone!
