GIBSON SG: SN 503462 1974 (according to the pot codes and Serial Number) No neck break ever, ebony fingerboard with rectangle inlays, original wiring harness and pots. Frets are in great shape, the guitar has not been played in over 35 years. Neck is straight. Action is great (v low), plays like butter, and Intonation is good. With a well fitting hard case from the same era - ‘Vantage’. Nut width is 40 mm / 1.57 inches and 12th fret width is 51.2 MM Action at 12th fret 6th string is 1.5mm at 1st string is 1.5 24 3/4 inch scale length Pot codes: 137 74 30 also 70 028 Weight: 7 lbs Was refinished nicely in 1992 +/-. Has no scratches, its a reddish walnut. History: I am a classical and jazz guitarist. I don’t play electric guitar. I got this in 1987 as a project, since some of the parts were missing and I had it refinished in 1992 +/- and bought a new wiring harness, harmonica bridge and tailpiece. The harmonica bridge and tailpiece were missing when I got it. I kept putting off assembling the whole thing. Finally in 2023 I paid my technician / luthier to put it all together. He said the old wiring harness was fine and used that with the original pots. I can show you the receipt. The pickups are PAF humbucker knockoffs and everything plays and works perfectly. The pins that hold the bridge sit a few millimeters up. Video is played through a DV Mark Little Jazz amplifier. I am including the original pickups that came with the guitar; one Dimarzio super hum bucker and the other is a Gibson PAF tarback (I have been told). The PAF seemed not to work, the Dimario does work-it showed current with a meter. Also included is the new replacement wiring harness I had bought but did not use, and some other miscellaneous parts from an older Gibson SG, including trust rod cover, switch selector cover, an extra Gibson tuning peg, some bridge pins, strap buttons.
