(15 May 1985) QUOTE REF GREECE: Some 5000 students marched triumphantly through SYND Athens claiming a major victory over the Government 22.5.85 stemming from an agreement they made with police and the LN114556 University of Athens authorities who agreed not to press charges against 60 students who had been holed up in the University's chemistry department for 6 days if the students left immediately. Other students accepted the offer and joined thousands of fellow pupils outside the University on a march through the city centre past Parliament House and the three main political party headquarters. They had a huge police escort during the march.
