My experience over thirty years has been that compassion and care are the core of the matter. Every Tuesday morning, I have an appointment with the angels. I move to the Emergency, passing through the MRI department hall to MRI room . Where the children are waiting, each in the arms of one of their relatives. They look at me with fear and anticipation. I approach them one by one. I go to greet them, introduce myself, and remove their anxiety. Every time I pass by, which is often, I find them in the MRI room, and they feel reassured by me. I hug them, gain their affection, and most importantly, reassure the parents. The result is great. Here in this video, we see a live example of my method of anesthesia. The little girl Taj, after she was crying and does not want to be scanned, turns into a calm cheep, because of the way I deal with her.
