Some time in 2025 ago, I contacted MRA (https://mra.de/en) to ask whether they would be interested in offering a small windshield for the V85TT (E4 and E5) with German ABE approval. They were interested, and communication with MRA has been excellent throughout. After several email exchanges, I sent them a few windscreens and received two black samples for testing. Small windshields guide the wind below the helmet and provide a true naked-bike feeling. This prevents turbulence and wind buffeting for most riders, although the helmet also has an influence, of course. The final result is a short windshield with German ABE approval (approved in accordance with Regulation (EU) 168/2013) valid from 2026 onward. In its flattest position, the “nose” (the section between the headlights) does not protrude excessively. Very good fit – the windshield can be installed without having to press it down.
