Magica Audios was the first promotion developed exclusively for WhatsApp. The challenge was to send Christmas audio messages to Kora, Coca-Cola's chatbot, and create the iconic bottle with sound waves. These audio messages were then analyzed and categorized by an AI that had been trained with thousands of audio samples by Coca-Cola's chatbot team. Within two weeks, there were over 4 million messages exchanged between Kora, Coca-Cola's virtual assistant on WhatsApp, and users, resulting in 851 winners. Approximately 100,000 unique users contacted Coca-Cola's virtual assistant via WhatsApp, with 50,000 of them sending their audio messages. In total, there were 400,000 audio messages sent, totaling more than 4 million seconds – equivalent to around one and a half months of continuous audio messages if played back one after the other. On just one day, Coca-Cola's WhatsApp chatbot received over 40,000 audio messages. One user alone sent 3,832 audio messages. This project was recognized with 2 Bronze Lions on Brand Experience and Mobile at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, as well as 2 other shortlist nominations. Additionally, it received 4 shortlist nominations at the One Show, with a Merit Award in the Direct Marketing category.
