🎣 SLOW DAY… BUT STILL A BLAST! | Dab Mission Turns Into Whiting & Pout Party! 😅🐟 Headed out determined to catch some dabs… and, well… the dabs had other plans! 🤣 With a match running at Pevensey Bay, I detoured to Eastbourne, and instantly knew the dab hunt was going to be a challenge — murky chalky water, 25mph SW gusts, and classic “whiting weather”! 🌬️🌊 Still, it was a fun session! I ran: 🎯 Pulley pennel with a wire trace, baited with a whiting snack 🎯 Three-hook flapper with 10-inch snoods & size 6 hooks🪱 Baits: Oiled & salted frozen lug + frozen sandeels🎣 Rods: Tronixpro Competition Nagas🌀 Reels: Penn Casting Specials The dabs didn’t show… but the whiting and pout were more than happy to keep the rod tip bouncing!
