INSTRUCTIONS: Drain and rinse the heart of palms. Use a fork to shred and flatten halfway through each piece of the hearts of palm. Sprinkle the hearts of palm with the seasoning. Mix the batter by combining the oat flour, ground flaxseed, old bay seasoning, ground nori, plant milk and salt if using. Dip each piece of heart of palms into the batter then the breadcrumbs and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 F for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway. Enjoy! "Chips" Note In this video, I cooked the potatoes to mimic the look of traditional wedges. However, cooking potatoes until they are browned can create acrylamide which can potentially have negative health affects. I advise cooking potatoes in a manner that will not result browning. INGREDIENTS 4 red potatoes Optional: 1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper INSTRUCTIONS Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Peel and cut potatoes into ½ to 1 inch thick wedges. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes. Drain and spread the potato wedges on the baking sheet. Do not overlap them. Optionally sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 400F for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through baking. Enjoy!
