Exploring an Abandoned House in Clearview

This beautiful old red brick farmhouse sits all by itself in the middle of the field many years from its Hay Day. Such a wonderful find. Every time I find a place like this I get excited to be able to document it cuz no one knows when it won't be there anymore for people to appreciate. It's hard to guess how long it's been abandoned the food in the cupboard say not too long ago but the antique furnace sitting in the middle of the main floor say that it's been there a while. I wish I knew at which point paint started to flake off walls so I could do my version of carbon dating. I would think I posted this style would have two staircases but there was just the single narrow staircase that led to the upstairs and then another architectural feature that I'm quite a fan of is the accessible attic. Speaking of attic it was dead silent up there. You know when animals start to make their home inside these bending houses that it's the first step to reclamation by mother nature. It was a very cold winter day which may explain why some of the doors were swelled in difficult to open but with a little perseverance no problem.
