Over 70 photos of classic AEC lorries, buses and coaches make up this upload to the Old Classic Car channel. AECs were once a common sight on British roads but are now only seen in museums and on the occasional vintage/classic commercial vehicle road run, at which a number of these photographs were taken by myself over the last 20 years or so. Perhaps the best known today are the AEC/London Transport Routemaster buses, but at one time lorries would be the first thing that would come to mind when AEC came up in conversation. Iconic British trucks such as the AEC Matador from WW2, the pre- and post-war AEC Mammoth Major, Mercury, Militant, Regent (PSV), and Marshall lorries through into the 1970s are featured in this collection, just one of many videos on this channel that feature old lorries in one form or another (please see the commercial vehicle playlist here to view a list).
