LTA strikes again (dang it) Service Trunk 43M,a service that was introduced in 2014 officially got withdrawn on 25 October 2025,as 104 gets introduced the next day. Originally introduced as a Peak Hour route back in BSEP era, with a full fleet of Single Deckers (mainly Citaros) until it was converted into a full day service with double Deckers. Running from Punggol Temp Interchange to Serangoon Central [Loop],43M was meant to serve the Buangkok Green/Serangoon sections [Hance looping at Serangoon Central] replacing the former 43A and helping both 43 & 70/70M at the same time along Yio Chu Kang Rd. It was later announced that 43M will get replaced by 104 and was withdrawn on 25 October 2025. Trunk 104,is a new service introduced on 26 October 2025, under BCEP. Running from Punggol Coast Interchange to Woodleigh Interchange,104 serves a few new sections like Nibong, Northshore (Direction 2 towards Punggol Coast),Sumang aswell as the extended Buangkok Drive, Serangoon Ave 1 and Bidadari estate. It also runs together with 43 section between Sengkang to Buangkok MRT & Yio Chu Kang Rd to Serangoon MRT. As much as there's new connections,it unfortunately lost it's connection at Buangkok Green, which made 43 go by that demand on it's own. With that,Thank you 43M for serving us since 2014 and welcome aboard 104 :). Trunk 43M [2014-2025]: Punggol Temp Interchange - Serangoon Central/MRT [Loop] (via Buangkok Green) Trunk 104[Present Day]: Punggol Coast Interchange - Woodleigh Interchange [via Nibong, Northshore (Direction 2 only),Sumang, Buangkok Drive, Serangoon Ave 1 & Bidadari] Hope you enjoyed this vid and have a great day ahead :) Song used: Oasis - Masterplan (What's the story, morning glory B-sides 🔥) All rights reserved to SMB 5001A Productions
