Beautiful scenic Piha Beach - New Zealand - Savfk- The Line of Beauty

Piha is a black sand surf beach on New Zealand's notorious wild west coast. 30 minutes west of Auckland Piha is one of Auckland's most popular destinations on the weekend for surfing and exploring. As it faces the western horizon many people visit in the evenings to catch the spectacular sunsets over the Tasman Sea. Others hike the paths on the rugged surrounding hills with some of the most rewarding views you'll find. One path leads to the spectacular Kitekite waterfalls while another, leads to the Karekare waterfalls. Separating the north and south ends of Piha beach stands the majestic, awe-inspiring Lion Rock which, as you can see, strongly resembles a lion sitting on the beach facing out to see.
