Dan writes, “Each foreign-language movement combines some aspects of that language group’s musical culture with my own musical language.” Each movement uses a small amount of a major world language, with full pronunciation printed in the vocal score and mp3 pronunciations available; for SATB mixed chorus with optional children’s chorus; three scorings: full orchestra, small orchestra with organ, and chamber ensemble with organ; approximately 45 minutes.
