She is celebrated as Rājaśyāmala or Rājamatangi, as also tenderly addressed as Laghu Syāmale, with the composer earnestly appealing for her grace. She is portrayed as the very foundation of the five elements, the one whose form enchants Śiva (Somasundareśvara), and whose lotus-like feet are ever worthy of adoration. She embodies both word and meaning, both Paramātma and Jīvātma. Set in the ancient rāga Gauri, this kṛti stands apart for its distinctive structure—featuring a chittaswara passage for the pallavi and a different chittaswara passage for the anupallavi.
