On CUE examination it was noticed that her urine contained 15 to 20 WBCs/hpf, nitrite levels were positive, leukocyte esterase was positive and the rest of the reports were normal. The urine culture exam showed significant growth of E.Coli bacteria. The above confirmed the diagnosis to be a Urinary tract infection and the case was effectively treated.
