This one will be a little different because I'm going to do it under more "realistic" field conditions than usual. For this one I'll skip the "luxuries" of a tray, mess kit or utensils (other than the included spoon of course). The only thing I'll have available to me is water. This is kind of like a "sequel" to the MRE Basics video "Just How 'Ready-to-Eat' is an MRE?" where I tried out an MRE just as it was, without any water or preparation. That video was meant to be a bit of an extreme test of the "ready-to-eat" nature of MREs, but a lot of people complained that soldiers are always supplied with water or that they wouldn't ever be caught without water.
