Humphrey's Ledge (advanced) to Northwest Passage (intermediate) to Councilor's Run (beginner) is a ski run of varying difficulties located on Attitash Peak at Attitash Mountain Resort. The trails run from the summit of Attitash Peak down to the Attitash Base Area. The run starts out as Humphrey's Ledge, an advanced trail, that starts off of the summit just to the skier's right of the top of the Summit Triple chairlift. The trail starts out flat, then has a short, but relatively steep, drop. The trail then merges onto Northwest Passage, an intermediate trail, and crosses. underneath the Summit Triple chairlift. Northwest Passage is not too steep but does have a few small drops. The trail continues until it nears the top of the double-double chairlifts. There is then a fork that has three different beginner trails. I took Councilor's Run, which is the green located farthest to the skier's right. It runs pretty mellow down the mountain. Near the bottom, I cut across the Learning Center trail in order to get back to the bottom of the Summit Triple chairlift. Attitash Mountain Resort is a ski area located in Bartlett, New Hampshire, which is located in the Mount Washington Valley Region of the state. The Valley is also home to the towns of Jackson and Conway and is also home to many other ski areas. Attitash is comprised of two peaks, Attitash Peak and Bear Peak. Attitash Peak is home to many classic, narrow, and fun New England-style ski trails, while Bear Peak is home to most of the resort's wide-open groomers and terrain parks. The ski area is also home to a hotel (the Grand Summit), a mountain coaster, and a lot of summer attractions such as an alpine slide, zip-lines, and some waterslides. In the summer of 2019, the ski resort was purchased by Vail Resorts from Peak Resorts, meaning the ski area is now a destination on the Epic Pass.
