The aviation industry thinks nothing of it and wants to fill the aircraft again with the tightest seating and occupancy - only in this way allegedly profits could be achieved. Higher ticket prices cannot be achieved in the price war - not even for the offer of lower corona risk. The distance from the tip of the nose between one passenger and the neighbor is thus reduced to 0.5 m - a ratio of 1.5 / 0.5 = 3. The risk of infection is increased roughly by a factor of 3 * 3 * 3 = 27 due to the volume effect! If airlines at least left the middle seat free, the distance from the tip of one nose to the other would be as short as 1.0 m - a ratio of 1.5 / 1.0 = 1.5. Dadurch, dass der Mittelsitz besetzt wird, verschenken die Airlines leichtfertig eine mögliche Reduzierung des Ansteckungsrisikos in der Größenordnung von 27 / 3,375 = 8. Ein einfacher Mundnasenschutz reduziert die Ausbreitungsgeschwindigkeit der Viren-beladenen Tröpfchen beim Husten oder Niesen, lässt die Viren aber praktisch in gleicher Menge durch. Es ist leicht einzusehen, dass ein Mundnasenschutz oder Halstuch (wie etwa das rote Tuch, das ich trage) kein zuverlässiger Virenspeicher über Stunden sein kann. Genau das müsste eine Atemschutzmaske für den Fremdschutz aber sein, wenn man die Virenkonzentration in der Flugzeugkabine durch den Gebrauch von Masken reduzieren wollte. So wie jetzt vorgegangen wird sind Passagiere, die neben aber auch vor einer infizierten Person sitzen extrem gefährdet! Aussagen wie diese: "Sicherheit und Gesundheit der Passagiere, Crews und Mitarbeiter haben für den Luftfahrtkonzern höchste Priorität" (https://www.lufthansagroup.com) erscheinen vor diesem Hintergrund zynisch und bleiben ein reines Lippenbekenntnis.
