King Cake Bread Pudding Ingredients 1 Lg stale King Cake 1 cups sugar (granulated) 6 eggs 1 tablespoons pure vanilla extract 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 Quart Heavy Cream 1 14oz can of Condensed milk 1 12oz can of Evaporated Milk DIRECTIONS For the King Cake Bread Pudding:. Butter a 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Place cut up bread into pan. If not completely stale you may have to toast the bread for 30mins at 300 degrees. Combine all liquid & dry ingredients. Mixture should be very moist but not soupy. Pour into the pan with bread and bake 1 hour and 30 minutes covered at 300 degrees. Then uncover and bake an additional 45 mins to 1 hour until top is golden brown. Pecan Praline Sauce Ingredients -1.25cup heavy cream -1 cup butter -1 cup brown sugar 2 cups pecans halves or pieces Directions for sauce 1.Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. 2.Add brown sugar and cream and stir well until completely mixed. Bring sauce to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes to allow sauce to thicken.3.Remove praline sauce from heat then stir in pecans.
