Another job on a hot day, although it was a little windy. A new client asked me for help, on the recommendation of her neighbors, where I had recently trimmed a large laurel hedge (on that day, all my tools were stolen). So, I had to trim the beech hedge in the front and back yards, as well as mow the tall grass outside the back yard. Both hedges were not particularly large or overgrown, so I started the job quite easily. besides, beech is very easy to trim, but before that, the owner asked me to cover the drainpipe with something so that the hedge trimmings would not fall into it and there would be no problems with the neighbors. When I finished working on the first hedge, and since it was a bit windy, I decided to clean everything up right away so that the wind wouldn't blow all the leaves onto the neighboring houses. For this job, I used my new Stihl BGA86 blower, which proved to be quite effective and very powerful. Then I moved to the backyard and started working on the second hedge. It was a little longer than the previous one, but trimming it was just as easy, and when I finished, I immediately put everything in green bags. When I was repositioning the camera, at one point I saw two cats running in the tall grass and bushes, apparently unable to share the territory. Then I used a trimmer to mow the grass near the fence and trees to make it easier to mow with a lawn mower, and when the time came, I was not careful enough to make sure I closed the gate, because it opened again and I suddenly pulled the lawn mower's starter cord, and my elbow hit the iron plate hanging on the gate. The wound was a little deep, so I went to the car for a first aid kit. Just in case, I disinfected the wound with alcohol, as I always have this spray in my car for such cases, and then put a bandage on it. After that, I mowed the grass, although I had to go over it again with the trimmer because the lawn mower couldn't handle it, and then I blew away all the cut grass. The work wasn't very hard, except for the minor injury, but I did it all in four hours.
