Get Reimbursed for Tires Damages and Smoking Violations from Turo's Guests

In this video I talked about how I was able to get reimbursed for damages to my tires caused by my guests on Turo and I talked about how I got reimbursed for smoking violations in my vehicles. How to Get Reimbursed for Damage Claim (filing Damage Claim on Turo); 1. Click on Report Damages on your Turo app 2. Choose physical damages or mechanical damages 3. Follow the prompt of questions on Turo 4. Choose to resolve with Guest or with Turo 5. Guests will pay or dispute the invoice. 6. If guests pay then it is all good! If they dispute or after within 20 days, they don't pay, you would need to escalate to Turo support before the 20 days are over. I have a 90/10 plan and so my deductible is $2500 and so I am not going to file with Turo. I am going to choose the option to resolve with guests. In this situation with this particular guest, I choose to resolve with the guest and submit the estimate I got from Discount Tire. I inputted how much I am requesting and wrote a little comment for the guest to understand the invoice. The guest paid right away in this case and this is lucky for me as sometimes guests will drag this part out for awhile. How to file Smoking Violation on Turo; 1. Choose Charge Incidental on Turo App 2. Select smoking violation 3. Follow the prompt on Turo with submitting before and after pictures. The after pictures should have several pictures evidence of smoking violations like ashes, cigarettes buds, weed pieces or any of the sort related to smoking. 4. Turo will not reimburse you without proper evidence of smoking violation. 5. Submit the smoking violation and wait for Turo support to approve or deny your claim.
