Comments: 1. Now this is one of my favorite entries of all time and it’s largely owed to how much of a catchy ethnic banger this instrumental is and how most of the performance features the coolest, most difficult, most synchronized, most hypnotic dancing ever seen at Eurovision. It’s one of the best stagings ever and it wouldn’t have even required a stage. 2. This is THE nostalgic dance break. It’s so energetic and the music is so epic. How come we never talk about Ruslana singing like that after dancing like THAT. 3. This is another nostalgic one. I just absolutely love the instrumental and the dancing is great too. A banger of an entry altogether. 4. It’s probably one of the most difficult, impressive dance breaks, but it’s not my absolute favorite. Still, it’s such a moment and watching skilled people be skilled is always cool. The absolute speed and synchronization they have is stunning. Even though the point of the simple instrumental is to focus on the dancing, I do like instrumentals that are more melodic. And, unfortunately, some of the most toxic Eurofans I’ve ever come across have tainted how I’m able to view this whole entry. Plus, the song itself has never been my cup of tea. 5. The actual, “official” solo dance break is nothing special but his genuine smile is so contagious. The pyros when they jump are so incredibly cool. And this instrumental is amazing. 6. The whoosh of those pyros is iconic. I remember watching it be the first performance of 2022 and thinking to myself, “Were they always that loud?” Anyways, this break is just so incredibly energetic I love it to bits. And the instrumental is a bop. 7. The story of how that flip came to be always makes me smile. The absolute guts it takes to go for it in front of millions after having injured yourself in rehearsal are insane. And he pulled it off. Of course, this instrumental is catchy as hell and the rest of the choreography is very impressive as well. This is such a feel good entry all around. 8. Damn, the Greeks really know how to do a dance break. Greece was one of my favorite Eurovision countries up until 2019 because of how distinctly Greek they were. That’s also reflected in how incredibly Greek these banger instrumentals are. Add some awesome dancing and you can’t go wrong. And I love that he poured his heart and soul into that dance just as much as the backup dancers. 9. This one’s so nostalgic for me. This instrumental is such a banger and Kalomira danced like rent was due. 10. This song has at least two dance breaks but I picked the more memorable one. It’s unique, it’s different and the music’s catchy. 11. I love this one mostly for the music aspect, but the choreography is cool too. Dancing in a closed line like that is rarer to see at Eurovision and it had some folksy vibes like the music. 12. This is another iconic one. Their skill, professionalism and synchronization while dancing were mesmerizing to watch. And who can forget the hairography! And they dance for most of the song! 13. This entry as a whole encompasses the joy of the first post-covid Eurovision. The bridge is very unique with both the choreography and the music. I love the mysterious little xylophone-esque notes. And, like with Subwoolfer, the moves are easy enough for anyone to learn but still look cool and interesting onstage. 14. This is iconic. I like how the primitive vibes contrast with the futuristic vibe of the rest of the song. And the dance moves are easy to learn for anyone. 15. This instrumental is so pretty and this staging is so gorgeous too. People remember it for the butter churning but I remember it for these beautiful red flowers and folk costumes. This moment is so lovely. 16. This is iconic. The instrumental is great and complements the rest of the song. The pair have chemistry and the dancing is mesmerizing. 17. I love how this part of the song has strong ethnic vibes. The dancing’s probably great too… I can’t really tell because of these weird camera angles. 18. This is too adorable and energetic to not include. They’re all smiling so widely. And this part of the song is gorgeous as well. 19. This part of this beautiful song is gorgeous and the simple choreography works. Still, it’s too simple to be put higher. 20. The music, pyros and camera angles are intense, but I wish this climax sounded more ethnic like the rest of the song. To me it looks a lot as if Efendi’s just moving her arms around, so a bit more movement would’ve been nice, especially since it’s the end of the song so getting out of breath isn’t a problem.
