Three more boss battles in this video, the difficulty hasn't gone up significantly enough yet. First we fight two Sabretooth Tigers in order to rescue Aht (who doesn't fight very actively for a while, but you'll be seeing her very often in later videos). This isn't such a hard battle as pushing the tigers to the back row reduces their offensive capabilities (which is quite high - however, they don't seem to be keen on using any special abilities). If one of the tigers uses Speed Up, it's pretty much a waste of a turn. From what I've observed, speed is mostly important when you want the first turn in a battle, and after that everyone seems to get the same number of turns anymore. Generally speaking anyway. Some unnecessary changing and chaining in this battle from yours truly. Then we fight more Granorgites! Looking at videos of the same boring soldiers might be boring, but I'll tell you some of these battles were pronouncedly complicated. Not this one though. Rosch is available for this battle, and it's the last one he's available that he's not terribly underlevelled (remedied in a normal game by some grinding if the player wants to use Rosch, but in a low level game, Rosch eventually becomes useless). His column-targeting attack is very nice for chaining, and he's preferred to Marco for this battle because Marco hasn't learnt any of his better skills yet. Then we fight a soldier that's a shadow. There are plenty of enemies named that way, they seem to be different looking each time. This one sets up a node on the map that heals his HP, and attempts to poison the party. He somehow fails to do that each time, though, so I change turns with him and chain him to death. Almost. Yeah.
