In this video I will be going over how to sharpen a plane blade to allow you to take a clean square even wood shaving. I will go into detail at each step of the process to allow you to achieve similar results with your own hand-plane. This will include explanations on how to flatten the back of the blade, sharpen and hone the bevel, prepare and setup the chip breaker and fit the blade to the plane to take a square wood shaving. I will also cover the equipment i have personally being using for this work for the last few years and have seen great results. Enjoy!
