I was inspired to create a more modern look in my primary bedroom while making all 3 spaces; the bath, the closet, and the bedroom, seem bigger. This project replaced two swinging doors with barn doors to create more usable, practical, and modernized space in my primary suite. The closet will get a new built-in to maximize space. Always being mindful of budget, I saved thousands of dollars by doing the work myself, and also obtained project materials at second-hand building supply stores. I'm estimating that I saved about $7000-$8,000 doing all the work myself. Take a look, get inspired, and stay retired!
