Made a typo today in my writing that caused me a surprising amount of introspection, so I decided to share some thoughts on typos (typographical errors). In this Part 2 of 2 I cover an online publishing/printing typo example, my feelings about typos, and the typo I made that caused me a surprising amount of introspection. Here is the link to Part 1 of 2, which covers the intro, what a typo is and three parts of the writing process where typos can be made including writing, editing, and publishing (such as printing): • Thoughts on typos (typographical errors) -... . 0:00 - Online publishing/printing can introduce typos as well; 0:34 - Wikipedia printing typo example; 2:00 - Some people getting really pissed off with typos; 2:08 - Explaining the pissed off perspective in terms of the Wikipedia printing typo example; 2:26 - My perspective, I was okay with the Wikipedia printing typos, my edits were just merged; 2:42 - My feelings about typos; 3:20 - The setting in which I started maturing and becoming more okay with typos, peer-review with international students in my college English class(es); 3:56 - I have nothing against people who hate typos, appreciate the feedback, sometimes the typos they point out are not typos and they misread it, which is useful feedback; 4:30 - I do not hate people who are sticklers over typos; 4:34 - I am not so much a stickler on typos, used to be more so, not as much now, can still get frustrated when I make typos; 4:45 - The typo I made today that caused me a surprising amount of introspection, mistakenly wrote Top 11 instead of Top 100; 5:11 - I had made the typo many times in writing and caught it in editing, then today I did not catch it in editing and it got printed; 5:24 - Why this typo was notable for me, the typo made it to print, it was not an accident rather it was a physical reflex mistake, proud of my personal growth of not beating myself up about making the typo, good karma that the typo was documented somewhere; 6:44 - Conclusion. Filmed by me (Tanis Coralee Leonhardi) in Shoreline, Washington State, United States of America in one take (part 1 and 2 filmed in one take, split into two videos for uploading purposes) starting at 5:03 p.m. (Pacific time) on Wednesday 19 January 2022. Premiered 19 January 2022. Content not made for kids.
