The video was made after many viewers asked for footage from the whole wreck/dive. A shorter and more entertaining version can be found here:    • Diving the U869, U-Who   The U869 became famous in the 90’s when its discovery was followed by years of struggle to identify the wreck and its history. The wreck lies 60 miles offshore New Jersey at a depth of 67m / 220 ft. The conditions at the dive site can be quite challenging, but we were rewarded with awesome visibility after the four hour boat ride. The story of the discovery has led to two books: “Shadow Divers” and “The Last Dive” and the NOVA documentary “Hitler’s Lost Sub”.
