I purchased this side table off of Facebook market place for $5. I was 4th in line, but some how managed to be the one to end up with this table. I've never seen any other side table like this one, and wanted to strip it down to show off the amazing veneer hidden under the tinted lacquer. I repaired the damage to veneer (using iron on veneer tape), stripped off the old finish, and re-stained the wood with General Finishes Candelite Gel Stain. The body of the side table had really beautiful and unique Walnut Veneer. The legs were oak with a poplar base (which doesn't like stain.)
