In this video follow along and see how I created custom pistol grips out of rose wood from scratch. Never having done this , there was a bit of a learning curve . But honestly the process is surprisingly simple , you just have to go slow and pay attention. I also made a replacement front sight out of some brass that was laying around the shop from a different project. This revolver is a Howes Western 6 Shooter 22 Caliber. It is a German off brand but is really not a bad gun for the price . Basically I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could successfully make the grips and I’m glad with the way they turned out.
