𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀/𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝘀. USB Executive Development’s brand-new 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 (𝗙𝗠𝗗𝗣) helps graduates and graduate interns/trainees master the first step in their overall development, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳, and become well-rounded young leaders within an organisation. It is the responsibility of the organisation and its leaders to help them understand who they are within the broader business environment, enhance their communication and leadership abilities to ensure employee engagement, unlock their potential, and help them proactively plan and manage a long, fulfilling, and sustainable career path. The programme complements existing graduate trainee programmes within an organisation, which mostly focus on in-house company-related matters and practical exposure through job rotation. To this end, the programme is structured around 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 over 𝟮𝟬 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, each of which equips high-potential future managers with the critical skills necessary for optimal performance in a new world of work. These modules include (𝟭) 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, (𝟮) 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, (𝟯) 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, (𝟰) 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, as well as (𝟱) 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. This webinar provides a detailed overview of the programme and introduces the programme faculty. USB Executive Development’s Digital Instructional Designer, 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗹𝗳𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗹, shares research insights from top companies’ talent managers, obtained as part of a recent study into talent attraction and retention practices in top South African brands. USB Executive Development faculty member, 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗮 (𝗠𝗕𝗔), shares a sample lesson from the self-leadership module of the programme. This lesson provides an overview of the leading causes of stress in young talent rumination. She shares ways in which reflection can be pursued instead, and how this change in thinking can facilitate self-leadership and personal mastery in the careers of young talent.
