The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past – Lost Ancient Ruins ("Restored" CD version)

The Lost Ancient Ruins theme from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, restored to CD quality using the original hardware sampler. You might know the official soundtrack CD from the game (called "Sound and Drama"), which had arrangements of the game soundtrack. However, this track here is different: it is not an arrangement, it's the original in-game track recorded with the original instruments, without any compression. The strings and the trumpet are from an S-550 and were processed with a Korg A1 to add a bit of hall reverb. The result is an excellent high quality track that could have been produced back then when A Link to the Past was released.
