الحلقة السادسة بعنوان " الآثار الغارقة " من سلسلة سنوات الفن والثقافة " الجزء الثاني التي يشارك من خلالها الفنان فاروق حسني ذكرياته أثناء فترة توليه وزارة الثقافة والآثار حول اهتمامه وحبه لآثار مصر العظيمة ومنها الآثار الموجودة تحت الماء في الاسكندرية ليتذكر هنا ظروف العمل علي استكتشاف واستخراج مجموعات هامة جدا منها وذلك من خلال موافقته وتشجيعه للتعاون مابين الوزارة وأحد أهم البعثات الفرنسية العاملة في هذا المجال وخاصة فى منطقتي ابوقير وبحري حول قلعة قيتباي. وكذلك ذكريات إقامة أول معرض للآثار الغارقة في باريس. ويتذكر ايضا فكرته الهامة التي كان يسعي الي تنفيذها وهي عرض القطع الغارقة في منطقتها المكتشفة بها في الميناء الشرقي من خلال تفريغ تلك المنطقة من المياة لتظهر القطع في مكانها كمتحف للآثار الغارقة مختلف ومميز لكن لم تمهله الظروف الفرصة لتنفيذها. The sixth episode, entitled “Sunken Antiquities,” from the series “Years of Art and Culture – Part Two,” features artist Farouk Hosny recounting his memories from his tenure as Minister of Culture and Antiquities. In this episode, he reflects on his deep interest in and admiration for Egypt’s great heritage, including the artifacts lying beneath the waters of Alexandria. He recalls the circumstances surrounding the work of exploring and recovering highly significant collections, made possible through his approval of and encouragement for cooperation between the Ministry and one of the most important French archaeological missions specializing in this field—particularly in the Abu Qir and Bahari areas around the Citadel of Qaitbay. The episode also revisits the experience of organizing the first exhibition of sunken antiquities in Paris. Additionally, he remembers the important idea he had long sought to implement: presenting the submerged artifacts in situ at their discovery site in the Eastern Harbor by draining that area of water so the pieces could appear in their original locations, forming a unique and distinctive open-air museum of sunken antiquities. However, circumstances did not permit him the opportunity to bring this vision to completion. #Farouk_Hosny #فاروق_حسني
