Xiaopei Chinese Dance Inc. was established on March 1, 2009. It was a very rainy day! On that day, seeds were planted, and to this day, more than fifteen years later, we continue to grow and blossom. The mission of Xiaopei Chinese Dance continues to be to provide professional and authentic dance classes and programs; to showcase and promote the splendid Chinese culture through dance; and to develop and train talented, strong, graceful, and confident students and dancers. We teach with our hearts by example and by demonstration and with patience and love. 15 years of effort and determination, thousands and thousands of steps on along the path, like countless drops of water, joining and flowing and becoming a river. From small groups at schools, libraries, and senior centers to crowds of hundreds at shows and community festivals around the Tri-Valley, to a television audience of hundreds of millions watching the China Central TV Spring Festival Gala in which we were featured, to Lunar New Year festivals and performances throughout the Bay Area, including the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade and a recent half-time performance at a Golden State Warriors game at the Chase Center, and with each and every step along the way, developing confidence, talent, responsibility, and a sincere and powerful love for teamwork, community service, and dance...
