Eggless Ragi chocolate cake is delicious, soft, moist cake and is a great way to use millets. Indulge in a guilt-free ragi chocolate cake made with wholesome ingredients like ragi flour or finger millet flour, wheat flour, jaggery, curd (yogurt) along with a few basic baking ingredients. Soft, moist and chocolatey, it’s a perfect snack for kids and adults alike. Millet cake might not sound the most appetising at first, and that’s ok. But just a bite into this deliciously rich, soft and fluffy chocolate ragi cake will definitely change your mind. Have it as is with a cup of tea, or go fancy and top it with some of my chocolate buttercream frosting – either way you’re going to love this one. In this ragi cake you can hardly taste the ragi. Plus the flavors of chocolate and ragi are like a match made in heaven, and the result is this beautiful millet cake that is really moist, spongy, and rich. No one’s going to be able to have enough of this! Usually, the cakes are made with all-purpose flour. But I like to bake my cake with whole wheat flour and in this as a twist, I added ragi /finger millet four along with whole wheat flour to make it healthy. And it is eggless too. So there are no beating eggs to the peak step. Just mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients. Isn't it simple and easy??
